Nucleating agent BLK-7985 is a representative variety of amide polypropylene β crystalline nucleating agent. Polypropylene (PP) can be dissolved in the resin melt at the processing temperature, and recrystallized with the decrease of the melt temperature to form a rod-like crystal with a larger length-to-diameter ratio, and then induce PP to nucleate and crystallize with β crystal, so as to improve the impact strength, thermal deformation temperature and microporosity of the product. In contrast, BLK-7985 has a stable structure, and multiple melting extrusion does not affect the β crystal content of PP, which can be widely used in PP-R pipe, injection molding products and dry lithium battery separator preparation process, and has a good synergic effect when used with calcium carbonate. In addition, BLK-7985 can also promote nucleation of polybutene-1 (PB-1).

Method of application
